Date Set for Heartland Family Service “Strike a Chord” Fundraiser

Calling all superheroes! Grab your cape and take to the skies on Friday, June 15 for “Strike A Chord” 14! The signature event will feature cocktails, dinner, live entertainment, silent and live auctions, raffle, superhero-themed games, and a costume contest. This year’s Heartland Family Service Salute to Leadership award recipient is Nancy Schulze and the Salute to Achievement award recipient is Nicole Rocha, who will both be recognized at the event. Attire is casual, and guests who would like to participate in this year’s costume contest are invited to wear their best superhero disguise!

Proceeds will benefit all Heartland Family Service programs in southwest Iowa, which include support services for the homeless, a K-12 therapeutic school, and mental health counseling, among many others. Since 1875, Heartland Family Service (HeartlandFamilyService.org) has responded to the needs of our area’s most vulnerable children and families. Each year, the agency’s 50 programs serve more than 52,000 individuals of all ages.

Individual tickets are $80 per person, or you can be a table sponsor for $800, which will reserve a table for you and nine guests. For more information on sponsorship opportunities, or to buy tickets, contact Development Manager Sarah Dighans at (402) 552-7475 or SDighans@HeartlandFamilyService.org.
