CSI Partners with SCHEELS to Provide Substitute Santas to Local Families in Need

Once again, Child Saving Institute (CSI, www.childsaving.org) will help put the happy in “Happy Holidays” for more than 700 children and teens in the greater Omaha area through its annual Substitute Santa program. This year, the organization is excited to partner with SCHEELS as its Substitute Santa event partner. The agency needs the assistance of many Substitute Santas! Anyone can become a Substitute Santa by purchasing gifts and bringing them (unwrapped with tags intact) to CSI, located at 4545 Dodge St., between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on December 8-10. In past years, CSI received donations from companies, families, schools, and civic organizations. All gifts and monetary donations to the program are appreciated.

Child Saving Institute is dedicated to the prevention, intervention, and healing of child abuse, neglect, and trauma. For 129 years, CSI has been “Responding to the cry of a child” and meeting the changing needs of metro-area children. CSI serves more than 2,500 children and families each year. To learn more about CSI and the programs and services offered, or if a Substitute Santa would like to make a monetary gift or view the Wish List, visit www.childsaving.org.
