Cross Training Center Available to Speak on Community Impact

If you are looking for a way to educate and positively impact your organization, contact Cross Training Center (CTC, www.crosstc.com). CTC is calling on local businesses, churches, organizations, workforce agencies, and schools to invite them for a presentation on how they are impacting the community with solutions to poverty through work. The nonprofit operates and owns four businesses (Cross Electronic Recycling, Redeemed Computers, Cross Automotive, and Cross Social Hall) that provide real hands-on work for students in their program, while also benefiting the environment through sustainable efforts. Anyone who would like to inquire about a tour or presentation can contact Deb Skinner, director of development. Deb can be reached at (402) 590-2100 or debskinner@crosstc.com.

Cross Training Center provides vocational training and job experience for those who are not able to attain a job due to challenging backgrounds and circumstances. CTC empowers and equips those who have been incarcerated or homeless, involved in gangs or substance abuse, have mental or emotional disorders, have been a victim of human trafficking or domestic violence, or live in poverty for numerous reasons. They receive life-changing training and experiences in order to gain employment on a career path that breaks the cycle of poverty for generations to come. For more information, visit www.crosstc.com.
