Completely KIDS unveiled its new Nature Explore Classroom that will positively impact the children and the community on June 27th.  The organization was recently given a plot of land next to its building to develop a nature explore classroom for the children in its programs. The dedication of the Nature Explore Classroom was held at 11 a.m. east of the Completely KIDS building. Brief presentations were given by Penny Parker, Executive Director of Completely KIDS; Todd Scholz, Leadership Omaha Class 35 and Project Executive for Kiewit Building Group, Inc.; Winsley Durand, Senior Director of Recruitment for the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce; and Connie Spellman, Founding Director of Omaha by Design.

The Nature Explore Classroom is a dynamic, nature-based play and learning space for children. They will participate in a variety of learning activities that allow them to be active and enhance their fine motor, creativity, decision-making, conflict resolution and team building skills.  Activities will include gardening, music movement, nature art, sand building, dirt digging, messy materials, building and climbing, as well as a gathering space for picnics.
