Child Saving Institute Guild to Host PurseOnalities Fundraiser

The Child Saving Institute Guild (childsaving.org) will host PurseOnalities on Thursday, September 28, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., at the Hilton Downtown, 1001 Cass St. The luncheon will raise funds to help at-risk kids and families served by CSI’s programs.

This year’s theme is “Tea Time,” reflecting the British heritage of keynote speaker Alison Larkin. Larkin is a comedian who was born in the United States but adopted by British parents and raised in England. She is author of “The English American,” a fictionalized account of her experience finding her birth family.

The event also features a silent auction of beautiful purse packages and fun boutique shopping. Honorary Chair is Wanda Gottschalk, retired chief development officer for CSI. Chairs are Emily Dugger, Zoe Johnson, and Stacey Patterson.

The patron event begins at 10:30 a.m. The silent auction begins at 11 a.m. and the luncheon and program begins at 11:45 a.m. Individual prices start at $75. For additional information or to reserve a seat, visit bit.ly/PurseOnalities or call (402) 504-3661.
