Carter’s OshKosh B’gosh Jenius Denim Campaign to Benefit MICAH House

As a part of the MICAH House (themicahhouse.org) Jeanius Denim Campaign, stop by the Cater’s OshKosh B’gosh store at 3706 Metro Dr. in Council Bluffs, IA from now until September 30 to donate a new pair of jeans or make a cash donation at checkout for children who are experiencing homelessness. Last year, MICAH House served nearly 1,000 people, 459 of whom were children under the age of 12. Having a good pair of jeans allows kids to have clothes for school, play, and more!

Founded in 1986, MICAH House is an emergency shelter that serves children, families, and women experiencing homelessness in the Omaha Metro and Southwest Iowa area. MICAH provides a safe place to live, nutritious meals, intensive case management services, an on-site health clinic, and life skills classes as individuals seek a better tomorrow.

Children of the MICAH House have access to their BUDDY program, which uses play, trauma-informed methods of care, and fantastic volunteers to serve as a healing force towards traumatized children. Playing with other children in the program helps them learn social skills, critical thinking skills, self-control, and creativity.
