Big Brothers Big Sisters to Host Match Makers Luncheon

As part of the 60th anniversary, Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands (BBBS) (bbbsomaha.org) has a goal of reaching 60 new Match Makers by the end of 2019. Match Makers are monthly donors for the agency. In order to reach this goal, BBBS is hosting a Match Makers luncheon on Tuesday, September 10 from noon to 1 p.m. Supporters of the organization are invited to come and hear more about the program and how becoming a monthly donor can make a difference.

Donors can change a life every single month by providing valuable support to enable BBBS to continue defending the potential of youth in the community. The mission of the organization is to create support and one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth. They strive for all youth in the program to reach their full potential. Big Brothers, Big Sisters, and Big Couples provide youth with a sense of safety and security, emotional support, and social skill promotion. Bigs and Littles are matched based on common interests, so they can have the benefit of doing activities together that they both enjoy. With a Big by their side, more Littles are discovering who they are and what they can achieve in life. Big Brothers Big Sisters is working to clear the path for our youth’s biggest possible futures.
