Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands to Host “Bowl for Kids’ Sake”

Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands’ (bbbsomaha.org/BFKS2019) largest annual fundraising event, Bowl for Kids’ Sake (BFKS), is right around the corner. It is a time where supporters of Big Brothers Big Sisters come together to celebrate their fundraising success with 90 minutes of cosmic bowing, pizza, and beer/soda. This year’s theme is “Peace, Love, Rock-N-Bowl,” so come dressed for the occasion! The event will be at Maplewood Lanes (3030 N. 101st St.) on the following dates: April 26, April 27, May 3, and May 4. Start times vary and will be assigned once your team is registered. This is the most fun you’ll ever have in rented shoes!

Big Brothers Big Sisters strives for all youth in the program to reach their full potential. A Big Brother, Big Sister, or Big Couple provides youth with a sense of safety and security, emotional support and social skill promotion. Bigs and Littles are matched based on common interests so they can have the benefit of doing activities together that they both enjoy. With a Big by their side, more Littles are discovering who they are and what they can achieve in life. Big Brothers Big Sisters is working to clear the path for our youth’s biggest possible futures.
