Assistance League of Omaha Announces Christmas Caravan Tour of Homes

Assistance League of Omaha (www.alomaha.org) presents its 44th annual Christmas Caravan Tour of Homes: “A Candy Cane Christmas.” This event includes a tour of four family homes decorated for the holidays by local designers. It will be held Thursday, November 8 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The four show homes are located in two northwest Omaha neighborhoods: the Deer Creek and Waterford subdivisions. In addition, Champions Run Country Club will host the Assistance League Thrift Shop Boutique and a bake sale.

Designers this year include Country Gardens, Blair; Studio DIY, Valley; Papillion Flower Patch, Papillion; and The Humble Hive Mercantile, Louisville. Each designer will also have seasonal merchandise available for sale at each home.

The Christmas Caravan also includes a preview Gala the day before on November 7. The Gala includes the Thrift Shop Boutique and a preview of the show homes, as well as an exciting new online auction and an oral auction at dinner. This project is in partnership with JC Penney Westroads and serves as Assistance League›s major fundraiser of the year.
