10th Annual Dance for a Chance Fundraiser to Benefit Homeless Youth

Youth Emergency Services’ 10th annual Dance for a Chance (www.yesomaha.org/dance) fundraiser is quickly approaching, and there’s still time to show your support for the event that benefits local homeless youth.

This year’s dazzling event will take place on Friday, August 3 at Omaha Design Center, 1502 Cuming St, and will include heavy appetizers, drinks, dessert, and silent and live auction.

Presented by C&A Industries, Dance for a Chance combines fun and philanthropy as inspiring community leaders and their instructors take the stage to compete for the mirror ball trophy. The line-up of 2018 dancers includes: Rob Corsaro, Physicians Mutual; LaShonna Dorsey, AIM Institute; Michele Ernst, First Data; Diana Florescu, UNMC; Nick Huff, hutch; Chris LaCroix, Verdant; Nikita Miles, Aureus Medical; and Megan Thom, Harry A. Koch Co.

YES is the only organization in the Omaha metro area with a sole mission of meeting the needs of homeless youth in our community. Many of these young people have been physically, emotionally, or sexually abused, making it unsafe for them to return home. Without YES, these vulnerable young people cannot succeed independently.
