Local Professionals to ‘Get Dunked’ for Omaha Home for Boys

For the second consecutive year, leaders from business, entertainment, media and sports will sit in a dunk tank May 25 to help raise money for the Omaha Home for Boys (omahahomeforboys.org) as part of Omaha Gives!

Among those scheduled to sit in the tank are Omaha Magazine Publisher Todd Lemke, Super Bowl 50 “Hot Ref” and Carlson & Burnett Attorney Clete Blakeman, Channel 94.1 “Big Party Show” DJs Big Party and Jeff Degan and KMTV-Channel 3 Reporter Lindsey Theis.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Stinson Park in Aksarben Village with individuals sitting in the tank until they raise $1,000. Once they hit their number, they are DUNKED! People are encouraged to support their favorite DUNKEE by making a donation online during his or her time in the tank that day. However, donors can schedule their gifts ahead of time or make donations throughout the day on May 25 via www.omahagives24.org by clicking on “Nonprofits” and then searching for the Omaha Home for Boys.

Channel 94.1 FM will broadcast live from 4-6 p.m., and Godfrey Natural Chiropractic – which offices in Aksarben Village – will be giving free onsite massages over the lunch hour and in the afternoon.
