Millard Business Association Presents 9th Annual Ribstock BBQ Festival July 23

The Millard Business Association’s (millardbusinessassociation.org) 9th Annual Ribstock BBQ Festival will be on Saturday, July 23, from noon to 10 p.m. at Stinson Park, 2232 S 64th St. Ribstock was created as a fundraising event to raise money for charitable projects. Admission is $5 for adults 21 and over (kids are free). Local BBQ, beer, soda, water, and other beverages will be available for purchase at the event. New this year will be the 1st Annual LagerFest. This event, sponsored by the Nebraska Brewer’s Guild, will showcase 20+ Nebraska breweries with sampling from noon to 4 p.m. Advanced tickets for LagerFest are available at www.eventbrite.com/e/nebraska-craft-brewers-guild-lager-festtickets-338380855247.

This year’s festival will have 10 local BBQ vendors, music by High Heel the Band starting at 6 p.m., an entertainment zone provided by Hines Glow Entertainment, and photo booth by FotoFunSpot. Bring your chair, blanket, and your love for BBQ to this year’s event!

Ribstock continues the theme of business, community, and BBQ, which is truly what this event is all about. There have been so many people within the community and Millard Business Association that have contributed to this event, and every year it continues to grow. More children, families, seniors, and veterans than ever before are experiencing food insecurity. Funds raised from Ribstock will enable the Food Bank to provide critical meals to families facing hunger in Nebraska and western Iowa. Ribstock has also generated thousands of dollars for Project Wee Care and are adding the Western Douglas County Food Basket program this year. Learn more at Ribstockbbq.com.
