Lindsay Corporation Returns as YES’s 2022 Dance for a Chance Presenting Sponsor
As Youth Emergency Services (YES, www.yesomaha.org) continues preparations for 2022 Dance for a Chance, the organization is excited to announce that Lindsay Corporation is returning as this year’s Presenting Sponsor. This year’s theme is Disco Nights. Dance for a Chance: Disco Nights is Thursday, October 13, at the Omaha Design Center. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets will be available later this summer. Once again, there will be a virtual telecast for those who can’t attend in person.
Lindsay Corporation has been a longtime event sponsor, stepping into the presenting role two years ago before the 2020 event was canceled due to the pandemic. The company returned in 2021 as the lead sponsor, and the event raised more than $109,000 to help youth who are experiencing homelessness in the Omaha community.
Similar to Dancing with the Stars, Dance for a Chance pairs up dancers with instructors, who then work together to create a dance, pick accompanying music, and practice over the summer before competing in October. At the same time, dancers are reaching out to their networks – friends, family, co-workers, etc. – to gain votes ($1 per vote) and raise money for YES.
