Heartland Hope Mission (HeartlandHopeMission.org) is hosting its annual fundraising dinner “Imagine a World” on Thursday, October 6 at 6 p.m. The evening begins with the Golden Ticket Silent Auction and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a mouth-watering BBQ dinner reception and heartfelt presentation. Individual tickets are $100.
This annual fundraiser helps provide a week’s supply of groceries and supportive services to nearly 50,000 people in the Greater Omaha Community. Recently, Heartland Hope Mission has seen close to a 50% increase in clients seeking services due to families struggling with inflation. Heartland Hope Mission operates one of the largest food pantries in the state, but they are More Than a Pantry since they help families work toward self-sufficiency. They primarily serve working poor families and those facing a crisis by providing a week’s supply of food, as well as clothing, diapers, job resources, and community referrals.
