Former NFL Quarterback Boomer Esiason to Speak at Team Jack Foundation Gala

The Team Jack Foundation (www.teamjackfoundation.org) is excited to announce that former NFL quarterback and sports analyst, Boomer Esiason, will be the keynote speaker at the 2022 Gala set for February 26 at The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel. Boomer Esiason is the founder of the Boomer Esiason Foundation which raises awareness, education, and quality of life for those affected by cystic fibrosis. Like childhood brain cancer, cystic fibrosis is considered a rare disease and, therefore, is grossly underfunded. Since 2014, the Team Jack Gala event alone has raised over $3.5 million for research and has been presented by Fat BrainToys since 2017. The proceeds from the event will support childhood brain cancer research. Join Team Jack for an evening filled with fellowship, lively bidding, and inspirational stories from Team Jack families.

The Team Jack Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that raises money to fund impactful childhood brain cancer research and works to raise national awareness for the disease. To date, the Foundation has raised over $9.4 million for research and has committed $8.8 million to twelve research projects both nationally and right here in Nebraska. Team Jack’s involvement in the fight against childhood brain cancer has started a ripple effect that has sparked a worldwide movement to combat childhood cancer. Team Jack Foundation was founded by the late Andy Hoffman and his wife Brianna, the parents of Jack, a Nebraska native who was diagnosed with brain cancer at age five.
