Catnip and Tails, Inc., a non-profit metropolitan cat rescue run entirely by volunteers, will have cats available for adoption at the Midlands Cat Fanciers cat show sponsored by the Cat Fanciers Association (CFA). Show will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2011, at the Salvation Army Kroc Center, 2825 Y Street, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
All cats available for adoption from the Rescue have been spayed/neutered, tested negative for all feline diseases, and given all necessary shots. The entire list of adoptable cats/kittens can be found at https://catnipandtails.org/.
Catnip and Tails, Inc. rescues cats/kittens from the metropolitan area. It has even rescued cats from as far away as Clinton and Glenwood, Iowa; Sioux Falls, South Dakota; and Kansas City, Missouri. It is not unusual to find the Rescue’s volunteers drive cats from small, high-kill shelters to other no-kill cat rescues located in other states. The Rescue promotes spaying/neutering of family pets and networks with other animal rescues–no matter if those rescue work with dogs, horses, or rabbits.
The volunteers of Catnip and Tails, Inc. are looking forward to the cat show and meeting all cat lovers. A couple of the adoptable cats may even compete in the cat show!
Any questions concerning the rescue or its appearance at the cat show may be directed to Tina Ainsworth at (712) 314-7669 or Cheri Halda at (402) 331-1484. Visit Catnip and Tails, Inc. online at http://catnipandtails.org.
