Village Pointe® Shopping Center has announced that two new specialty retailers, Athleta and Blue Pomegranate Gallery, will be opening at the shopping center. Other national brands exclusive to Nebraska and the Omaha market, Soma and The Art of Shaving, also opened earlier this year at Village Pointe.
Athleta (www.athleta.com), a premier fitness fashion brand for women, will open its first Nebraska location at Village Pointe, bringing its premium active and fashion-fueled lifestyle apparel to more women who live life in motion. A Gap brand concept, Athleta will open later this year next to DSW Shoes on the center’s Main Street. The Village Pointe store will also serve as the go-to wellness resource to find information about upcoming local races and athletic events as well as serve as a venue for free in-store fitness classes.
Blue Pomegranate Gallery (www.bluepom.com), a specialty fine art and fine craft gallery is relocating from its current location in Benson to Village Pointe Shopping Center, next to Paradise Bakery and Café on the center’s west end. The gallery will feature a variety of limited production kiln-fired free-standing and wall-mounted fused glass pieces, hand-formed metal sculpture, clay free-form artwork and wall plaques along with pottery vessels. Among its many “affordable and approachable giftable items” are artwork pieces created from ‘up-cycled’ items such as laser cut record clocks, jewelry made from clock parts, street signs and other unconventional repurposed objects.
