After 38 years with VCA Animal Medical Center of Omaha as Medical Director, Dr. Patricia Stevens-Kopf has announced her retirement.  She has been with the practice since 1976 and officially retired on December 31, 2014.  Dr. Stevens-Kopf was born and raised in LeMars, IA.  She attended Iowa State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree, and then went on to attend Iowa State Veterinary School where she graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1976.  Her first professional job became her lifelong home when she accepted a position in Omaha as a Staff Veterinarian at VCA Animal Medical Center of Omaha.  She was named the Medical Director in 2001.  Dr. Stevens-Kopf is a true trailblazer as she was the second female veterinarian to practice in Omaha.  The search for a new Medical Director is currently underway and will be announced soon.
