Local couple’s gourmet shop serves up fresh spices, hand-mixed blends, and tea.
Village Pointe in West Omaha is getting an infusion of sugar and spice with a new gourmet shop. The Spice & Tea Exchange® (spiceandtea.com) of Omaha opened its doors on April 4th, 2025, and offers a wide range of spices, herbs, aromatics, blends, teas, accessories, and more. Owners Kimberly and TJ Scott will celebrate a Grand Opening on Friday, June 20th, through Sunday, June 22nd, at 17255 Davenport Street, Suite 106, in Omaha, with exciting giveaways and discounts.
“Our love for The Spice & Tea Exchange® started on a very personal level,” says Kimberly Scott, co-owner of The Spice & Tea Exchange® of Omaha. “TJ and I share a large, blended family, so entertaining and feeding people came very naturally. I discovered The Spice & Tea Exchange® during trips to Florida and fell in love with the flavors. I just knew I needed to bring this concept to Omaha.”
The Spice & Tea Exchange® of Omaha fits well into the Village Pointe family of businesses, with high-quality products and superb customer service. The Scotts have a distinct vision for their gourmet shop, which store manager Alicia Connell shares and executes to a tee. Aligning their customer service experience was easy, as Alicia and Kimberly are former retail colleagues. “We really strive to make it an experience from the second our customers arrive,” continues Kimberly. “The team, headed up by Alicia, excels at creating a warm and welcoming experience, where it’s about the customer and their individual journey.”
