Sylvan Learning of Omaha Launches Online and In-Home Tutoring
In response to COVID, Sylvan Learning of Omaha (www.sylvanlearning.com) launched online tutoring for all three of their centers (Omaha, Bellevue, Lincoln). They were able to pivot very quickly and got the online tutoring up and running in two weeks after everything started to shut down in March. So far, Sylvan has found that each student is different and, while some learn better in person, many students are thriving with online learning. They’ve also started offering in-home tutoring in the Lincoln market and have plans to institute it in Omaha and Bellevue in the near future. These options are great for families who aren’t able to come into the center due to health concerns or because they do not live very close, so convenience has played a huge factor as well.
