The Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce is set to host its Annual Awards Banquet on Thursday, October 9th at Embassy Suites – LaVista. The event will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the award presentation at 7:30 p.m.
2014 Nominees include:
Business Leader of the Year: Russ Daub, Margaret White, Martie Cordoro, Dan Zongkers, Tom Greco.
Business of the Year – 26+ Employees: COX Business, Black Hills Energy Corporation, Hillcrest Health Services, Metropolitan Utilities District, Rotella’s Italian Bread.
Business of the Year – 1-25 Employees: Dairy Queen Papillion, Farrell’s Extreme Body, BounceU, Ed’s Auto Body, Cross Pointe Innovations, Benefit Professionals, Inc.
Volunteer of the Year: Jose Dimas, Tom Kerfoot, Lois Erickson, Jason Olson, John Collard, Lowell Ferguson.
Non Profit of the Year: Open Door Mission, Papillion Community Foundation, Alegent Creighton Health Midlands Hospital, Good Samaritan Society-Millard, Tobacco Free Sarpy.
New and Emerging Business of the Year: TriPoint Coffee, The Egg & I, Max Muscle-Bellevue, Tiburon Family Eye Care, Dunkin Donuts, Pizza West.
Ambassador of the Year: Bill Fletcher, Karissa Williams, Megan Ziegenfuss, Michael DeMuth.
In addition to the presentation of eight awards, the new board of directors will be announced and attendees will be given a brief report on the Chamber and what is coming up for the 2014-15 fiscal year.
