The new Omaha Tech Startup PollTheVote (pollthevote.com), created by local Heather Nelson, is helping get public opinions to Omaha’s decision makers as an easy-to-use online platform that fosters local engagement by connecting people to their elected officials, candidates for office and community leaders.
Nelson’s goal was to create a bridge to engage civilians with their community leaders, and PollTheVote is doing just that. One can create a free personal account to find community, gain access to polls and newsletters and more by going to pollthevote.com.
