Nebraska Safety Council Announces Dates for Upcoming Conferences and Trade Shows

The Nebraska Safety Council (www.nesafetycouncil.org) has announced dates and information for their upcoming conferences and trade shows. The Panhandle Safety and Wellness Conference and Trade Show will take place on September 12, 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., at the Gering Civic Center (1050 M St., Gering, NE). The Panhandle Worksite Wellness Council and Nebraska Safety Council invite you to join them for this innovative, educational conference. In addition, the annual Nebraska Safety Council Conference and Trade Show is slated for October 16, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., at the Holthus Convention Center in York, NE. This year’s event is celebrating the Worker 360° Ripple Effect, an approach founded on the premise of safety and wellness for the whole person, 24/7, on and off the job. The two keynote speakers are Michael Hingson and Dr. Charlie Cartwright. The Nebraska Safety Council will also be holding two pre-conference session opportunities the day before on October 15, including a leadership development course (new for 2019) from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and an environmental boot camp from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pre-conference sessions allow for an immersive, full-day learning experience, led by experts in the field.
