Mead Lumber (www.meadlumber.com), one of the largest 100% employee-owned building materials dealers in the United States, celebrated the grand reopening of its newly remodeled location in Pratt, Kansas, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and community luncheon.
With 53 locations across nine Midwestern states, Mead Lumber has made store reinvestment a strategic priority. The Pratt location received a comprehensive exterior renovation reflecting the company’s updated branding, along with significant enhancements to the retail showroom. These updates expanded product offerings and improved the in-store experience for builders, contractors, and homeowners alike.
The celebration drew local officials, customers, and team members together to mark the milestone. After the ribbon cutting, the community was invited to view the work done to the store as well as a celebratory luncheon.
“This grand reopening is one of many steps we’re taking to modernize our locations and elevate the Mead Lumber brand across the Midwest,” said Dave Anderson, President and CEO of Mead Lumber. “It’s part of a broader plan to strengthen our position as a trusted partner to pro builders and remodelers while ensuring our stores meet the evolving needs of the communities we call home.”
