A long-simmering plan to bring LeadBelly’s brand of flavorful, affordable dining to Midtown Crossing is finally coming to fruition. The Lincoln-born concept – billed as a “Contemporary American Pub” – is taking over the space formerly occupied by Ingredient with an expected February launch date.

The restaurant specializes in made-from-scratch, high quality pub food from around the world, including gourmet burgers, tacos, sandwiches and salads with a large selection of hand-crafted beers, whiskeys and wines – all at a comfortable price point. In a break from the Lincoln concept, LeadBelly-Midtown Crossing will feature an expanded entrée section that includes wood-fired pizzas and more steak, seafood and other dinnertime options. What will remain unchanged is a restaurant design that conveys comfort.

Red Herring Concepts, the hospitality company that runs LeadBelly, began eyeing a Midtown Crossing address years ago but was waiting for a location with the right square footage to become available. Now that the lease is signed, the Red Herring Concepts team is excited to introduce LeadBelly to an Omaha customer base.
