The SAC Foundation will host its annual charity golf fundraiser on May 20, bringing together community members to raise funds in support of programs that serve military members, veterans, and their families. Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit organizations dedicated to improving the well-being of those who have served our country. A portion of the funds raised will support Heroes on the Water and Fisher House, two organizations providing critical services to the veteran community.
Heroes on the Water offers recreational wellness experiences for veterans through kayak fishing and outdoor activities that promote healing, connection, and mental well-being. Fisher House provides no-cost lodging for veterans and military families while a loved one is receiving treatment through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), ensuring families can remain close during times of medical need.
The SAC Foundation is seeking community support for the event through sponsorships, donations, and contributions of items for the silent auction. Businesses and individuals can help expand the impact, providing meaningful support to veterans and their families. Community
