Chief Fabrication, a division of Chief Industries, Inc., located in Grand Island, NE recently opened its newly built powder coat facility in August 2014. Once in full production, Chief Fabrication’s new facility will represent one of the largest powder coat operations in the country.  Powder coating uses a dry powder that is applied and heat cured to provide a durable protective finish on metal surfaces. Chief’s new powder coating facility will enable the primer and topcoat to be applied in one pass, and can accommodate parts up to 17’ long in addition to other desirable capabilities.
