Caretech (caretechinc.com) is expanding access to Developmental Disabilities (DD) Waiver services across rural and underserved communities in Nebraska, giving eligible individuals and families another option for personalized support closer to home.
Through Nebraska’s Medicaid Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) program, Caretech supports eligible individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities based on their authorized person-centered plan.
Caretech’s approach focuses on each individual’s strengths, preferences, routines, needs, and goals. Support may include Supported Family Living, assistance with daily living activities, personal care and routines, meal preparation, household tasks, skill-building, and respite, depending on eligibility, authorization, service area, and caregiver availability.
Caretech works alongside participants, families, and Service Coordinators to provide dependable support that encourages greater independence and helps individuals remain connected to the life and community they choose.
Caretech’s DD Waiver services are focused on communities across Nebraska outside Omaha and Lincoln. Service availability varies by location and individual needs.
Individuals already receiving DD Waiver services can speak with their Service Coordinator about requesting Caretech as a provider. Once a referral is received, Caretech can review authorized services and determine availability in the participant’s community.
