BLUEBARN Theatre Gears Up for December Performances of Holiday Show

BLUEBARN Theatre (www.bluebarn.org/tickets) invites you to attend their holiday show, Act of God by David Javerbaum. The New York Times calls the story “deliriously funny! It’s John Stewart funny plus Stephen Colbert funny.” Performances are November 23 through December 16, Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m.; Sunday December 2 at 6 p.m. and December 16 at 2 p.m.; and Wednesday, December 5 and 12 at 7:30 p.m. This show is generously sponsored by Omaha Steaks.

In this “hilariously holy” limited engagement, God descends upon the BLUEBARN stage along with His angels, Michael and Gabriel. He’ll answer the eternal questions. He’ll set the divine record straight. He’s got ten new commandments—and He’s got jokes!

Groups of 10 or more receive 20% off the regular ticket price—it’s the perfect way to ring in the holidays with your office staff! Contact director of patron services, Ashley Spessard, at aspessard@bluebarn.org to make reservations.

In addition, every holiday season BLUEBARN features the Giving HeARTS Tree to benefit the Eastern Nebraska Office on Aging (ENOA). Ornaments containing gift wishes from ENOA clients give guests a chance to be an elf for the elderly by fulfilling their gift wishes this holiday season.

The BLUEBARN Theatre has been bringing professionally-produced plays to area audiences since 1989. Since its inception, BLUEBARN has produced over 100 plays and has established itself as Omaha’s professional contemporary theatre company. General admission tickets are $35.
