Make sure to save the date for the 4th annual Omaha Heritage Festival, which will take place this year on Saturday, May 17th. The event will kick off with a parade at 10 am, which will start at 10th and Pacific Streets and will proceed north to Farnam Street and then east to 8th Street and will continue to Lewis & Clark Landing, which will be where the festival is held. The parade will feature cultural groups presenting the traditional customs of more than 30 different nations as well as floats for businesses and other organizations. The Omaha Heritage Festival will include many exhibitors, international food, live music and children’s activities from noon until 10 pm. Supporters of this event include the City of Omaha, Nebraska Arts Council and the Nebraska Tourism Commission.
