Angels Among Us (myangelsamongus.org) provides financial support to pediatric cancer families living in or being treated in Nebraska. Life seems to stop when a child is diagnosed with cancer, but expenses don’t. To combat the rising cost of living and to keep pediatric cancer families financially afloat, AAU commits to alleviating this financial burden.
In July 2025, Angels Among Us made a significant increase in commitment to its financial assistance program for pediatric cancer families. To keep up with rising costs and knowing a larger financial gap needed filled for the families served, Angels Among Us is now expected to provide over $800,000 in financial assistance this year, and that amount is expected to grow again next year. A commitment such as this is only possible with the help of the generous community and dedicated donors.
In 2025, Angels Among Us has already served 106 families, given over $525,000 in financial assistance, and had 423 emotional support program touchpoints with families in 2025. Record amounts of both financial and emotional support are being provided.
Angels Among Us is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to provide financial and emotional support to any family whose child is battling pediatric cancer living in or being treated in the state of Nebraska. Since 2006, over 800 families have been supported with over $5.5 million in financial support.
