Join us for TEENLINE at Trudy’s (2814 N 60th St) in the Benson Creative District on Friday June 2nd from 6-9pm
Featured Teen Artists:
🌈Elena Nygard: “I am an artist of various mediums and find my best expression through oil painting and ceramics. As a disabled kid, just graduated from high school, I look towards the arts to make a life for myself. Much of my work is inspired by my desire to capture the beauty of the human form, which can be seen in several paintings and a recent sculpture. Even with the fulfilling mediums of oil and clay, I also create in watercolor, pastels, blockprinting, photography, crochet, woodcraft, and poetry.”
🌈Maisy Wasenius: “Hello, my name is Maisy and I am a recent graduate of Treynor High school! I often use my works to explore my identity as a queer woman and as a person on the spectrum. But sometimes my art is something I create for the express purpose of making me feel better and literally no other reason. My only hope is that other people may find some sort of enjoyment in or even see a little bit of themselves in my work!”
✨Free Felting Workshop led by local artist Rowena Bennett ✨
