HETRA to Conduct Disabilities Awareness Clinic on August 11

The Heartland Equine Therapeutic Riding Academy (HETRA; www.HETRA.org) will be conducting a Disabilities Awareness Clinic on Saturday, August 11 from 12 – 1 p.m. During this educational event, Katie Lichtblau, doctoral student from UNMC’s Munroe-Meyer Institute Center for Autism, will present on behavior management strategies. She will discuss behaviors associated with disabilities and a variety of strategies to aid parents, caregivers, and anyone working with the disabled in any capacity.
