Five Nines – Omaha’s IT Partner Keeping Your Business Productive & Profitable
The story of Five Nines (gonines.com) started with two independent IT guys, working around the clock to service a few clients in Lincoln and Omaha. After initially joining forces, they could have never imagined that the company would grow into the largest independently-owned IT Services Company in Nebraska, with 3 locations and 75+ employees, in just 10 short years. The story of Five Nines includes chapters about the learning curve that brought change, massive growth, and success. However, the one thing that has remained constant is the focus on the mission “To love what we do and be the best at it.”
A milestone that marks the company’s history of growth was the need for an Omaha branch. “In the fall of 2009, we officially opened our Omaha location. We were servicing clients in Omaha since the very beginning, and the need to have someone available within a few minutes was growing. We knew Omaha was an incredible community to be part of, and we couldn’t wait to have a physical location there,” said Nick Bock, CEO and co-founder. “The first few months were interesting as we had only one official employee in the Omaha office. It was amazing to see the support we received from the Omaha community as we continued to grow organically like we had done in Lincoln. The office has now grown into a close-knit group of 25+, who live out our mission every day,” said Bock.
Five Nines provides outsourced IT support for small to mid-sized businesses in Nebraska. With a model that is focused on providing high-level consulting, Five Nines provides each client with a Primary Engineer, Account Manager, and Support Team. The Primary Engineer becomes a part of the client’s company, getting to know their team, goals, and technology. It gives the clients all of the benefits of having their own IT person. Five Nines Account Managers work with clients to create technology budgets for 1, 3, and 5 years down the road. The support team is made up of vCIOs who can advise clients from the c-level, a tier three team who is always working on high-level issues, the support desk which is available 24/7, and a project team who can help implement IT solutions to help clients be successful.
“We are committed to serving Nebraska and giving back to the communities that have given us so much. Technology will continue to change and evolve; the one thing that will remain constant at Five Nines is great people. Our focus at Five Nines will always be around providing the highest level of service and ensuring that clients are set up for success. We are excited to see what the next decade has in store,” said Bock.
