Every other Wednesday in Claudia Martin’s office at Redstone, you’ll find an adorable pair of Boston Terriers who are far more interested in play than work. When the puppy gate is up, Rocky and Audrey are in the building!
Although they are both youthful and full of energy, Rocky is a mature 11 years old and Audrey isn’t too far behind him at 7. Rocky was adopted from the Nebraska Humane Society, and although no one is sure how he got his name, everyone in the office suspects that it’s because he resembles a Boxer puppy. While he can be rambunctious at times, Rocky is more of a lover than a fighter as he’s a huge sweetheart and the perfect gentleman. Audrey, a sassy little lady who has definitely earned her diva reputation, was named after a strong, intelligent woman and a classic celebrity—Audrey Hepburn.
Office life certainly has its perks for Rocky and Audrey, who are quite the social butterflies and take full advantage of their “company benefits.” They have plenty of human friends that stop by to visit and they have their own cupboard stocked with the necessities: toys for playtime, blankets for naptime, and of course plenty of treats, which are an absolute necessity all the time!
Occasionally, the dynamic duo also brings a friend along with them for the day. Claudia fosters through the MidAmerica Boston Terrier Rescue, and many times the dogs that come to stay with her before they find their forever homes come from puppy mills. Rocky and Audrey are a great support system in showing their special guests the ropes and have become professionals at making their visitors feel comfortable so that they can join in on the fun too!
Sharing the love with everyone at Redstone is what Rocky and Audrey are best known for—their friendly, expressive personalities, happy-go-lucky nature, and endless supply of cuteness lifts the spirits of everyone in the office. Not to mention there are also plenty of cuddles to go around!
