Doug Fitzgerald provides a membership site called Finish Life Well™ (www.FinishLifeWell.com). The combination of his past experiences of being a radio personality, pastor, business owner, husband and father led him to create this site.  The site’s purpose is help each member Finish Life Well™ by providing them with monthly video & audio sessions, “To Do” lists that accompany each session, and expert resources to help the member in “The 6” priority areas that he has found most people desire to grow in:  Faith, Relationships, Business/Career, Finances, Health/Fitness, and Fun.

How long have you been in the Omaha area?
I grew up in Albion, NE on a farm.  From there I attend college in Storm Lake, IA, Hastings, NE, and Lincoln, NE.  My wife Tammie and I lived in Dallas, TX for four years before moving back to Lincoln in 1999.  We have lived in Lincoln ever sense.

Who are the owners/important executives?
My wife Tammie and I are the company owners.  We have an incredible Business Manager, Mysi Girdlestone, who oversees our day-to-day operations.  We also have an extremely talented photographer/videographer, Amon Medinger, who handles our overall membership site production.  And we utilize the amazing creative web-design talent of John Wooten, who orchestrates the look and function of our site.

What do you think makes you different from other companies similar to yours?
We have set out from the beginning to be a company that gives authentic and re-life solutions to the need every human has, to be the best they can possibly be in every aspect of their life.  Since we have just recently launched, we look forward to expanding our mission by being a forum where people can not only get practical insights to grow and develop personally, but where we can highlight the experiences and lives of people who can share their stories with our members as well.

What do you like about doing business in the Omaha area?
One of the exciting things about providing an online membership site is that we can literally reach out to and serve people from around the world.  And as we do that, represent Nebraska!

Do you have a business philosophy or mission statement?
To inspire, motivate, and challenge everyone to use their God-given abilities and passions to Finish Life Well™.

What do you see happening with the business in the next five years?
We look forward to beginning a Finish Life Well™ conference series this year where we will host live events utilizing the talents of other individuals and companies to share their expertise and resources to help local members in “The 6” priority areas:  Faith, Relationships, Business/Career, Finances, Health/Fitness, and Fun.

Over the next five years we would like to have a site membership of over 10,000.  We would also like to have established the “live” Finish Life Well™ series in over 10 cities across the country and simulcast in over 100 cities around the country and the world.

What was the biggest turning point in your business?
The biggest turning point was simply putting everything in place to get started.

Through my personal and professional experiences I have gained a lot of insight, wisdom, and access to resources that have impacted my own life.  My personal drive has always been to live my life in a way that when I die I will have no regrets, knowing that I finished my life well.

Through the years I have had the privilege of working with people, serving them, sharing life together, and speaking to them one-on-one, in small groups, and to audiences in the thousands, sharing my life experiences, which has personally impacted thousands.

It was suggested to me that I provide my insights, wisdom, and experience to a larger audience through the internet, so we have develop our membership site to accomplish this, with hopes of impacting the live of millions.

What is one goal for your business that you have yet to accomplish?
The one goal personally that ultimately lends itself to the core of our company goal, is that throughout my life and after I die, my wife and kids can say that I trusted God with everything, loved them deeply, provided for their needs, taught and challenged them to be the best that they could be by living with passion and dreaming big, lived with courage, and gave them joy!

And from that, I want people to know how special they are, that they each have a purpose to fulfill in life, and give them courage to live out their dreams using their passions, gifts, and skills.
