Tell us a little about your family.
My wife, Brooke, and I have three very active children.  We spend a lot of time with them and their activities.  Kennady, our oldest, is in eighth grade and loves softball and basketball.  Luke is in third grade and likes wrestling and football.  Trot is a kindergartener who loves baseball and likes other sports when he is winning.

What do you see as one of the biggest turning points in your life?
Nothing can turn your life around more than having a family.  When you hold your child knowing that they depend on you for so much, it makes you approach everything differently.

What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?
One of my favorite things to do on a day off is go hiking.  It is relaxing, but you have a feeling of accomplishment when it is done.

What is the most unique or interesting thing about you that most people probably don’t know?
I am a big reader.  I average two or three books a month.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Growing up in life and business I have been lucky enough to have had coaches and bosses that taught to expect a lot from myself.  A person I work out with said it best.  You can either have excuses or great results, but not both.

What is the one goal you would most like to accomplish?
I would like to feel as though I have made a difference for my children, employees and kids who I coach.

If you could have a super power, what would it be?
I would pick time travel to make sure I make the right decisions.

What are your plans for retirement?
I would like a place on the beach, a place in the mountains, a place by the grandkids, and live on my own terms.

What is your greatest talent that you don’t utilize in your daily work life?
I do good impressions.

Which talent would you most like to have?
I wish I had a really good poker face.  People tend to know what I am thinking.

What is your favorite book or the last good book you read?
I love the Prey Series and Virgil Flowers novels by John Sandford.

What is your favorite movie?
Pulp Fiction.  It has very entertaining dialogue, and I like the way Tarantino writes gangster films.

What is your favorite TV show?
College football.  But my guilty pleasure is Wipe Out.

What is your favorite local restaurant?
Jerico’s

If you could have dinner with one famous person from the past or present, who would it be?
Dan Gable.  I coach youth wrestling in my free time.  Dan Gable won collegiate and Olympic championships as a competitor and a coach.  I have even heard stories about him winning matches with a broken arm.  His views on motivation, focus, perseverance, and leadership would be incredible.
