Zier Institute Welcomes New Occupational Therapist Stephanie Dyrhaug

Zier Institute (www.zierinstitute.com), a growing pediatric occupational therapy practice, is proud to announce the hiring of Stephanie Dyrhaug, OTR/L, OTD.

Stephanie received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and her clinical doctorate in occupational therapy at Creighton University. She is trained in the areas of Bowen Family Systems, DIR/Floortime, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. With this unique combination of education and training, Stephanie, along with the Zier Institute, has developed a program for teenagers for understanding emotional intelligence and its power to transform learning and relationships. This new program called “Compass” began this summer and is helping transform teens lives.

Stephanie is focused on building Compass, which equips young adults with the internal tools they need to navigate this essential period in their lives – all in a safe, engaging environment.

Stephanie’s hiring as an OT associate represents a homecoming of sorts. She worked for Zier Institute while pursuing her bachelor’s and clinical doctorate.

“After graduation, it was an easy decision to continue working at Zier Institute. I’m a firm believer in the therapeutic power of the family, and Zier Institute really encourages a collaborative environment for children and families to reach their goals,” Stephanie says.

Zier Institute is committed to helping children achieve their highest potential physically, emotionally and socially through individualized care, family involvement and collaboration with caregivers, teachers and other professionals who share our interest and commitment to the unique needs of children.
