BC Clark, President and Executive Director of the Metro Omaha Women Business Center and Board (MOWBC), announced that several were honored as Outstanding Women in Business, Outstanding Contributions to Women Owned Small Businesses and Outstanding Contributions Women and the community at their monthly breakfast forum at the UNO Alumni Center on July 15.

The Outstanding Contributions to Women Owned Small Businesses was presented to Andy Alexander, Nebraska Business Development Center/PTAC.  Outstanding Woman in Business was presented to Mary Ann O’Brien, owner of OBI Creative.  Outstanding Contributions to Women & the Community was presented to Pastor Elictia Hart, Eagles Nest Worship Center.

These awards were presented at the 3rd Anniversary celebration during their monthly forum, as July was dedicated to celebrating the “No Dream Deferred” theme. These are annual awards presented to women and others who have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to advancing the entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen of women in our Metro area as well as the community.
