Kristine Gale Joins Nebraska Community Foundation

Nebraska Community Foundation (NebraskaHometown.org) is pleased to welcome Kristine Gale to its team of affiliated fund development coordinators. Kristine works part time from her home office in Bassett, Nebraska, providing training and education to Nebraska Community Foundation affiliated funds primarily in north-central Nebraska. As a Community Development Coordinator, she helps to build community awareness, provide training resources for successful fundraising, and enhance community impact through grantmaking and leadership development.

Kristine has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a master’s degree from University of Nebraska-Omaha in public administration. In addition to experience in marketing, communications and community development, Kristine’s previous experience includes serving as economic development director in Bassett, Nebraska; executive director of the Fremont Area Community Foundation; and executive director of the Nebraska State Fair 1868 Foundation.

Kristine and her husband, David, have lived in Bassett since 2010 with their three sons, Jack, Charlie, and Thomas. Kristine and David also served as founding members of the Rock County Community Fund, an affiliated fund of Nebraska Community Foundation.
