Richard “Dick” King was inducted into the RV/MH Hall of Fame to honor his significant contributions spanning almost 50 years in the industry.  King is the founder and CEO of King Insurance in Omaha, Neb., an insurance agency that provides insurance coverage to the recreational vehicle (RV) and manufactured home (MH) industries.

The South Dakota Manufactured Housing Association nominated King for this honor.  The nomination form included several letters of recommendation from industry partners and customers.  The induction ceremony for the Class of 2014 inductees was held Aug. 4 in Elkhart, Ind. where all 10 of this year’s inductees were honored during the annual induction dinner.

In addition to his career contributions, King has also spent many years volunteering both within the industry and his community. His volunteer work includes volunteering his time to the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and serving on several manufactured housing association boards throughout states in the Midwest.
