Cresa Welcomes Paul Buss as Vice President of Project Management

Cresa (www.cresa.com) has announced the addition of Paul Buss as Vice President of Project Management.

Paul brings over 30 years of experience as a designer, project manager and consultant to the Cresa Omaha office. His diverse background includes work in the areas of commercial and residential development, municipal utility infrastructure, office remodel and build-out, electronic security systems, and critical infrastructure continuity of operations planning.

Prior to joining Cresa, Paul worked for civil firms HWS Engineering and Ross Engineering in Lincoln, Nebraska, where he specialized in assisting private and municipal clients with the design and construction of numerous commercial and residential developments. He also worked as a facility project manager for the Nebraska Army National Guard and USSTRATCOM, providing guidance on the design and construction of new facilities and the remodeling and renovation of existing buildings, with project scopes ranging from $10,000 to $25 million.

Most recently, Paul assisted the Department of Homeland Security in providing all-hazards vulnerability assessments at critical infrastructure sites around the country. Assessments were conducted at sites such as professional sports arenas, power plants, hospitals, college campuses and company headquarters buildings. Within these assessments, he provided the host company’s leadership an insight into the resiliency of their facilities HVAC, electrical and communications systems, and also provided an evaluation of their physical security and emergency operations plans.

In addition to his career in engineering and construction, Paul also has over 30 years of service in the Nebraska Air National Guard, as an Aircraft Mechanic, First Sergeant and is currently serving in a leadership role as a Chief Master Sergeant within the 155th Maintenance Group.
