Cameron Scott Appointed to American Heart Association Board of Directors

Cameron Scott, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Union Pacific, headquartered in Omaha, has been appointed to the board of directors of the American Heart Association (www.heart.org/HEARTORG), Midwest Affiliate for a two-year term. In this role, Scott will help lead the achievement of the association’s mission to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke through oversight of local revenue generation and health impact activities. The American Heart Association is the world’s leading voluntary health organization devoted to fighting cardiovascular disease.

Cameron has been a wonderful volunteer for many years with the American Heart Association. He is the current Chair of the Omaha Board of Directors and continues to show great dedication to the organization’s mission.

As a member of the Midwest Affiliate Board of Directors, Scott will help oversee the American Heart Association’s efforts in an 11-state region, comprised of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
