Outlook Nebraska, Inc. (ONI), a nonprofit organization providing employment and other opportunities for people who are blind and visually impaired, is having its 2011 Banquet to Celebrate the Capabilities of the Blind on Oct. 15. It will be taking place at the Ramada Plaza Omaha Hotel and Convention Center at 72nd and Grover Street.
The evening will highlight the accomplishments of ONI, its associates and others that value the impact that ONI is able to make on the lives of the blind. It will include a cash bar reception, banquet, awards and a guest speaker.
According to ONI CEO Eric Stueckrath, the funding from this event will benefit opportunities for the blind and visually impaired to break through the barriers of economic and personal independence.
Tickets are $10, and a table of 10 is $500.
