YMCA of Greater Omaha Awarded $482,800 Grant
YMCA of Greater Omaha (www.metroymca.org) is pleased to announce it was recently awarded a $482,800 grant from United Way of the Midlands. Thanks to the generosity of the United Way donors, the YMCA of Greater Omaha can continue to support 108,000 youth, adults, families throughout the Omaha metro. United Way funded programs include aquatics education, early childhood education for at-risk youth, Ready in Five – IC school readiness, Ready to Learn, school year & summer Out-of-School-Time, Teen Safety Net program and youth sports for at-risk youth.
