The Heartland Family Service Friends Guild and honorary chairs Kirk and Teresa Kellner invite you to open your hearts to vulnerable children and families in our community this Valentine’s Day by attending the Heartland Family Service “Carnival of Love” Gala. Guests will be transported back to a vintage carnival at this casual-attire event on Feb. 14, 2015, at Embassy Suites-La Vista, with string lights, posters and carousel centerpieces provided by Terry Cossel at Grand Illusions. As in years past, guests will enjoy live and silent auctions, cocktails, appetizers, games, a raffle and dinner. And new this year, you can treat your Valentine to the “Suite-Heart Package,” which includes a hotel room and breakfast. Or, get together with friends for an all-nighter!
Guests again will use an electronic bidding service to bid and keep tabs on their favorite silent auction items directly from their smart phones throughout the night. Items on the block during the live auction include a Taylor Swift girl’s night out package and Nebraska football skybox seats for the Northwestern game. Proceeds will support Heartland Family Service’s mission to strengthen individuals and families in our community.
