The Omaha Community Foundation maintains its status as one of the top foundations in the country according to an annual survey of community foundations. The Columbus Survey analyzes the data from nearly 300 Community Foundations in compiling the list. The Omaha Community Foundation ranks 13th in terms of grants given out to the community, placing in the top 5% of community foundations.

The Omaha Community Foundation also ranks high in terms of new gifts coming into the foundation at 16th and in terms of total assets at 23rd. Those rankings put the Omaha Community Foundation within the top 10% of all community foundations in the survey.

More than 1200 individuals, families, and organizations rely on the Omaha Community Foundation to help facilitate their charitable giving. Since the Omaha Community Foundation’s inception in 1982, those donors have given more than $780 million to more than 1400 charitable organizations. The Omaha Community Foundation helps donors manage their charitable giving, whether the donor gives $1000 a year or $1,000,000 a year.
