Midlands Community Foundation’s 2018 Reflection Ball Raises More than $130K

Midlands Community Foundation’s (www.MidlandsCommunity.org) 2018 Reflection Ball, held on January 20 at the Embassy Suites in LaVista, raised more than $130,000. 475 guests attended the gala. Net proceeds from the event will support the needs of non-profit organizations that provide programs and services to children in Sarpy and Cass counties in the areas of art, community, economic development, education, health and human services.

At the event, the 2018 Reflection Award was presented to Bindy and Bob Frederick for their volunteerism and service to the community. “We are thrilled to present Bindy and Bob Frederick with this year’s Reflection Award. We appreciate the countless hours of volunteer service they have provided to a number of worthwhile organizations, particularly, their many years of service to Midlands Community Foundation’s Board of Directors and Reflection Ball Committee,” said Tonee Gay, executive director.

The mission of Midlands Community Foundation is to benefit the diverse needs of the Sarpy and Cass county communities by providing financial support, involvement and service.
