Methodist Jennie Edmundson Announces “PINK OUT” Events

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Methodist Jennie Edmundson (MJE; www.jehfoundation.org) Hospital, located at 933 E Pierce St. in Council Bluffs, is proactive in the awareness and fight against breast cancer. The “Bosom Buddies,” survivors and advocates for the prevention and cure of breast cancer, are again raising awareness and funds to support the work of Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital’s Breast Leadership Team through educational opportunities, capital improvements, community awareness, and free breast screenings. Funds from their upcoming events will go to Methodist Jennie Edmundson to purchase a Breast Specimen Imaging System, a system to expedite results during surgical excision biopsy procedures. Their goal is $90,000.
