Bob Goff, author of “Love Does” and creator of Restore International, a nonprofit that endeavors to address atrocities and injustices throughout the world, will be the keynote speaker for The Hope Center for Kids’ seventh annual gala, Friday, October 10.

The Gala will be at the Century Link Center in Omaha beginning with a reception at 6 p.m.  The dinner begins at 7 p.m.  The gala is a major fundraiser for The Hope Center for Kids, which provides after school activities, mentoring, tutoring, employability training and meals for children in North Omaha.

Honorary Chairmen for the event are Brenda Christensen and Mike Morris of Omaha.  The program will include a video about the programs and accomplishments of the organizations during the past year and plans for the future, which include similar programs in Fremont, Neb.
